Below are examples of events which we have commonly run with firms or companies in the past. Please do note that we are more than happy to adapt any of the following events or propose new events to suit our sponsors' needs.

First-Year Scheme Panel
Graduate recruitment from leading City law firms presented on opportunities offered by their firms to first year law students and second law non-law students. This was followed by an informal Q&A session with participants of such schemes and their experiences.
Practice Area Presentation and Dinner
Graduate recruitment, associates, and trainees from a City law firm presented a workshop on their firm’s leading practice areas, followed by a networking dinner.
Dispute Resolution Panel Discussion
A comparative panel discussion exploring the career paths of a barrister and a solicitor with a focus on the earlier parts of the career. Participants had the opportunity to hear two different perspectives from a pupil barrister and a trainee solicitor of a top barristers' chambers and a City law firm.
Life Sciences and Private Equity Workshop
Graduate recruitment and associates from a leading City law firm conducted an in person workshop exploring the multidisciplinary work done in private equity and life sciences.
Networking Drinks
Trainees and associates at a leading City law firm conducted a presentation on opportunities offered by the firm followed by networking drinks.
Interview and Assessment Centre Masterclass
​OSCOLA obtained the assistance of an external coach to run a masterclass on performing well in assessment centres and interviews. Topics covered included common interview questions, assessment centre activities, and demonstrating commercial awareness.
